Booking T&Cs

Flexible Rate Terms and Conditions

Your credit card details will be used to guarantee your booking.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know by 4pm, 24 hours prior to the date of arrival, so as to avoid our cancellation charges. Bookings made for any of the "Supplement" or "Stopover" promotions are based on a minimum spend in the Brasserie or Bar of £75 per night or £98 per night on the Valentines Sunday stop over to qualify for room rate. 

Please note some of our promotional rates (Eggs and the City; Lion King) have a different cancellation policy and require you to cancel your room by 4PM, 48 hours prior to the arrival date to incur no charges.

In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full room price will be charged.

Please note exceptions to our standard cancellation policy:
- Malmaison Liverpool stay dates 3rd to 5th April 2014 30 day cancellation applies.
- Malmaison Liverpool stay dates 16th to 20th July 2014 30 day cancellation applies.

Other Promotional reservations are non-cancellable or amendable.

Car parking in Oxford: Please note car parking in Oxford is limited and needs to be booked in advance by contacting the hotel directly. The cost is £28.50 per night.

Bookings Of 6 Rooms Or More
When booking more than 6 rooms, different policies and additional supplements will apply. Please contact our groups desk on 0871 943 0350 for details. Any bookings made for more than 6 rooms via our website will be held provisionally until the group terms are agreed and our contract signed. We reserve the right to cancel group bookings of 6 rooms or more made on the transient rates available through our website.

Pre-Paid Rate Terms and Conditions

Please be advised that bookings made on advanced purchase rates are non-refundable and non-transferable and the card used to pre pay must be presented at check in. Advance purchase/Pre-paid rates cannot be purchased using a Malmaison or Hotel du Vin giftcard. This includes the Summer Promotion.

Gift Vouchers Terms and Conditions

• Malmaison gift cards must be redeemed only at Malmaison hotels or its sister brand Hotel du Vin and Pub du Vin and may only be used towards the purchase of eligible products listed and sold by Malmaison, Hotel du Vin or Pub du Vin. 

• Malmaison gift cards cannot be redeemed at Bistro du Vin or with any other company. 

• Malmaison gift cards cannot be redeemed to pay for other gift cards.

• Please note Malmaison and Hotel du Vin giftcards cannot be used to purchase any pre-paid, non-refundable rates online.

 

Malmaison gift cards have no cash redemption value and are not transferable or assignable. Malmaison may provide gift card purchasers with information about the redemption status of the gift cards they purchase. 

• If the purchase made at Malmaison exceeds the amount on the gift card, the balance must be paid in cash or by credit or debit card. 

• One or more gift cards can be redeemed against a purchase in Malmaison, Hotel du Vin or Pub du Vin. 

• Malmaison is not responsible if a gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. 

• Defaced, illegible, or photocopied gift cards will not be accepted. 

• If the gift card is defective you must contact the Customer Services department as soon as possible for a free replacement. Our liability in such cases is limited to replace the defective gift card. 


Validity / cancellation / refunds 

•  Gift cards and unused portions of gift cards expire after one year from the date of issue, where permissible under law. 

• You may cancel the gift card during the cancellation period. This is the period in which you may cancel the gift card commencing on the date of purchase and ending the earlier of:

• Fourteen calendar days from (and including) the day after the purchase date. 

• Refunds will be processed within 14 working days once received.

• If you wish to cancel a gift card please write to the Customer Services department, enclosing proof of purchase. Once the cancellation period has expired you will not be able to return the gift card or claim a refund to the value of the gift card:
