With Hotel du Vin & Bistro, guests enjoy relaxed, stylish townhouse hotels and delicious bistro dining at sensible prices. Beautiful bedrooms feature luxuries such as roll-top baths, monsoon showers, fluffy bathrobes, and plentiful bathroom goodies. The wine theme is obvious throughout the hotels, with each bedroom sponsored by, and named after, an eminent wine company. And the walls are hung with hundreds of prints, lithographs and other wine-related memorabilia. In the bistros and bars, we serve classic dishes and drinks in comfortable surroundings, and offer an extensive, eclectic wine selection. Guests can also eat in elegant private dining rooms, and we provide a range of meeting facilities.

The unique identity of Hotel du Vin has endured and developed since the brand started in 1994, in Winchester. Since then, our popularity has grown steadily – our guests are also our fans. You could say we don’t have a database, but a fan base instead. It’s full of people who love our hotels, and will travel far and wide to enjoy a Hotel du Vin meal or overnight stay.

We’re justifiably proud of our collection of 16 townhouse and city-centre properties. Each Hotel du Vin has its own character, shaped by the architecture, history and sensitive conversion of the original building. At the heart of each, our bistros serve French classics with a British twist. And, thanks to our close relationships with vineyards and winemakers, our cosy, low-lit bars offer many of the world’s finest and best-kept secret wines.
