We admit it, Malmaison Oxford's 95 rooms and suites were once a little on the spartan side. But they've turned over a new leaf and gone straight onto the most wanted list, thanks to super-fast Wi-Fi, super-comfy beds and drench showers you'll want to hang around in. These are simply the most stunning and original hotel rooms in Oxford. So are you going to come quietly, or not?

All our rooms have the complete set of Mal ingredients - great beds for sleepy heads, moody lighting, en-suite bathrooms with baths and power showers, digital TV, serious wines and naughty nibbles. Other little luxuries include same-day laundry, exclusive toiletries that you're encouraged to take with you, 'vroom' 24 hour room service, fast and free Wi-Fi, hairdryers, ironing board and iron and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Please note that extra beds can only be supplied for children aged 3-14 years old and are only available in Superior rooms, £30 is charged per extra bed, per night. Cots are available for babies. For special requests, please contact Bookings Central on 0330 016 0380.

Executive Suite

Like many of the suites in the Oxford Mal, this one's named after a former Governor. You must have really deserved this treatment as you unlock the door. From the cinema room, 'Shawshank' is blasting in glorious surround sound. Instead you flick on the taps and fill the roll-top tub, as you check out the rest of the suite like the guv'nor himself. Later, from the confines of your tub, you find yourself wondering if Mr Lowton Robbins would like what we've done with the place.
