Can I cancel a reservation online?
Yes. To avoid cancellation charges, booking must be cancelled before 4pm local hotel time on the day prior to arrival.
What is the difference between standard and superior?
All our rooms have the complete set of Mal ingredients - great beds for sleepy heads, moody lighting, power showers, CD players, CD libraries, satellite TV, serious wines and naughty nibbles. Other little luxuries include same-day laundry, exclusive toiletries that you’re encouraged to take with you, ‘vroom’ room service, fast internet access (ask at front desk for details), and a hi-octane gym.
Superior Rooms have a little extra Mal – king size beds, super sized toiletries and more room to chill out.
Are children allowed at Malmaison?
Yes, if you need an extra bed or cot in the room then please let us know when making your booking or prior to your arrival at the hotel. We can also supply highchairs in the brasserie if needed.
Please note that extra beds can only be supplied for children aged 3-14 years old and are only available in Superior rooms, £30 is charged per extra bed, per night. Please contact central reservations on 0845 3654 247 to book

Can dogs stay at Malmaison?
Yes. For an extra £10 your faithful sidekick gets his very own dinner bowl and basket to languish in. Leaving you free to languish in the bar or brasserie, if you could possibly tear yourself away from him.
I have tried to book a Special Offer seen on malmaison.com, however when I tried to book it is not available?
All offers are subject to availability and an allocation of rooms. When this allocation is reached, the hotel cannot accept any more bookings at these rates, although the hotel may not be full. Please call Mal booking central on 0845 3654 247 for the next best available rate.
Can I make a group booking of more than 3 rooms online?
NO. However, please call us on 0845 3654 247 where a member of the Mal booking central team will be happy to help.
What if I have forgotten my confirmation number?
We will be happy to resend you this. Please call the Mal booking central team on 0845 3654 247. Please make sure you have your confirmation for your arrival to the hotel.
How do I know I have completed my reservation? Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes, you will receive an email confirmation.
Do I need to book the brasserie?
Yes, to avoid disappointment please book the brasserie before or on arrival at the hotel. This can now be done online.

Do you have parking facilities? Is it free of Charge?
Belfast – No, NCP car parking is available nearby the hotel.
Birmingham – No, Car parking is available nearby the hotel.
Edinburgh - Yes it is complimentary, and there is also free on street parking
Glasgow – No, Car parking is available nearby the hotel.
Leeds - No, Car parking is available nearby the hotel.

Check-in time is from 2pm Monday to Thursday, or from 3pm Friday to Sunday.

Yes. Available for use on the day of your arrival and check-out day.

Yes. Subject to availability in the hotel. There will be an additional charge based on the going rate.
Do you have a free Airport shuttle?
No but we can organise transport through a private hire company for you.

What facilities are in the hotels?
Gym, fast internet access (available on request), 24 hour room service and same-day laundry service. The Petit Spa can be found in Mal Birmingham, Mal Manchester and Mal Newcastle.
Do you have pay per view movies?
No, however we have a DVD Library and Player available on request.

How can I make a speedy exit?
Yes – just fill out one of our ‘on the run?’ express checkout cards which you can find in your room or otherwise ask at reception. Simply complete the card with your name, room number, billing address and signature. A detailed copy of your statement will be send to the billing address and charged to your credit card.
