Casa de la Ermita are a young and dynamic wine producer established in 1999 in Jumilla, Eastern Spain. The Jumilla region near Murcia has traditionally produced red wines made for blending but it is winemakers such as Casa de la Ermita who have put this region on the map and realised the true potential that is possible in producing fantastic quality red wines from the indigenous Monastrell grape and fresh and crisp whites from the Viognier grape.
Further to being dynamic Casa de la Ermita are also pioneers in producing Organic wine in the region and have introduced to the area international grape varieties such as Petit Verdot with great success.
