Mallard

There are times when you find you just can't sleep without a working train set in your room. There are also times when you're going to need a dual drench shower, over the biggest teak bath man has ever seen or quite possibly constructed. Then there are times when a four-poster bed and lounge area with big screen TV and surround sound are not a luxury but a divine right. For all those times you need the Mallard.

The Orient Express

Travel in luxury. The Orient Express is an über suite which features a grand scale four-poster bed, teak bath and its very own wet room. This week has been murder. Solve all that with a night in the Orient Express.

Ghan

Named after the classic Australian cross country train. The Ghan features a classical four-poster bed, separate lounge, and roll-top bath with a separate shower. With flat screen TV and Bose surround sound system adding to this Antipodean affair, you'll be happy you came along for the ride.

GWR

Brunel's vision is perfectly represented with the GWR Suite. With its broad gauge double bed, built-in bath, balcony big screen TV and Bose surround system, you're in for a night of epic proportions.

The Rocket

Named after the first steam locomotive built, The Rocket is an open plan haven with a super-sized bed, double showers, plasma TV, Bose surround sound system and all of the rock'n'roll touches you've come to expect from the Mal. If only George Stephenson were here, we think he'd be chuffed with the place.

Mal Ingredients

All our rooms have the complete set of Mal ingredients - great beds for sleepy heads, moody lighting, power showers, CD players, satellite TV, serious wines and naughty nibbles. Other little luxuries include same-day laundry, exclusive toiletries that you're encouraged to take with you, 'vroom' room service and fast internet access (see below for details).
