European Journey Wine Dinner

This dinner is hosted by Johnny Walker, the Director of Wines and Spirits for Malmaison.

His subject is a huge canvas and he can spread his net wide, with a look at a selection of wines from Western Europe that shows the huge palette of diversity and choice available to the modern consumer and enthusiast - so he’s gathered a mix of “old friends” and some “young pretenders” anxious to get noticed outside their local comfort zone. A tricky thing when you only have 6 wines.

So a slightly off centre look at, and on occasion a non classical wine region or even an unsung hero, grape variety looking for recognition, looking for attention, looking to be loved.

The chef will enjoy matching his dishes to such a variety of different wines.
