    • Whisky Dinner

      Available at: Aberdeen,

      Join us for three courses of divine dining complimented with a whisky per course for our Whisky Dinner on Wednesday 7th March at 6:30pm for £65 per person. Learn about the history of the whiskies and the distillery on this informative and informal evening with like-minded people.

      Tickets are £65 per person  includes dinner, whisky and a drinks and canape reception

      If you are attending this event you can stay for just £75 Bed & Breakfast rate, subject to availability

    • Fridays are a Different Beast

      Available at: Belfast,

    • Steak Night

      Available at: Birmingham,

      Thursday night is Steak Night at the Mal. Join us for your choice from different cuts of steak, fries and a sauce. The event will run in conjunction with Donald Russell. Using the finest cuts of meat sourced locally, this is an evening to celebrate the steak.

    • Banfi Wine Dinner

      Available at: Birmingham,

      Join us for an informative and relaxed evening in the company of like-minded people on our Banfi Wine Dinner. Dante Cecchini from Banfi introduces you to a night of celebration of la dolcevita with some wonderful Tuscan food and wine. Enjoy a selection of wines from this wonderful region, matched with five delicious courses whilst learning the story behind the wines from Cecchini and our Sommelier. Meet for apéritifs at 6.30 to dine for 7pm on 23rd February for £45 per person.

      Tickets are £45 per person.

      All wines served throughout the course of the evening will be wines (red and white) by Banfi.

    • Fem-Ale Appreciation Society

      Due to the success of the Fem-Ale event in 2011, we welcome back Purity Brewing Co. and Marverine Cole to host another Fem-Ale event.  You girls know beer isn’t just for the boys. You need a daring evening with a bevy of golden blondes, tall dark cold ones and the odd pint sized beauty at the Mal.

      Join Marverine Cole, award-winning beer Writer, TV Presenter and Journalist as she hosts an evening for discerning beer-curious ladies in association with Purity Brewing Co. The beauty and the beer, you’ll drink to that on the 29th March. That’s Mal life.
