Malmaison Reading opened in July 2007. The old girl is back. The much loved Great Western rail hotel is now one of us. She's always been chic now we've brought her up to date and brought along a few of her friends to keep her company. A seductive bar serving smooth, strong beers, astounding vino and dangerously good cocktails. An alluring brasserie serving up stellar tasting cuisine, passionately prepared with to-die-for local ingredients. And then there's her more outgoing cafe serving healthy take-homes and ultra tasty anytime nibbles. The old girl is back, not so old and even more adorable.
Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for far from brief encounters. Next stop Aberdeen 2008.
Our homegrown & local philosophy continues at a mighty pace. We've been picking up gongs and plaudits the world over for our ethically sourced local produce, you absolutely must give it a whirl in the brasserie tonight, no wellies required - just a fine appreciation of the very best the region has to offer.
